We're always on the hunt for a new spirit to raise our cocktail game. This year, aperitivo hour has stolen our hearts — that magical window before dinner when a well-made drink sparks your appetite and sets the stage for an evening to remember.
Enter Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry, a pioneer in the world of sherry with roots dating back to the 1700s. Originally shipped from Spain to England and blended in the port city of Bristol, this fortified wine quickly became renowned for its amber colour and chestnut-tinged flavour.
Harveys is crafted from more than 30 different sherries of varying ages and styles — including pedro ximénez, oloroso, amontillado and fino — all blended to perfection.

Produced in Spain’s historic Jerez region, but given its signature character at the Bristol blending house on Denmark Street, the result is a soft, sweet, slightly nutty sherry layered with floral and herbal notes, hints of dried citrus and aromas of figs.
While it’s delightful served neat, Harveys Bristol Cream truly shines in cocktails. Stirred with sparkling wine and a splash of grapefruit soda, then garnished with a fresh slice of grapefruit, it transforms into a modern spritz that feels timeless and festive.
This season, give your bar cart staples a rest and make room for a new — yet iconic — holiday favourite.
