We all know romance doesn't have to wait for Valentine's Day — REIGN's candle-lit, manor-inspired dining room is an elegant experience dripping with charm at any time of year — but the Fairmont Royal York's signature restaurant is pulling out all the stops for Cupid's big day.

Between the excellent service, decadent dishes and intimate atmosphere, we fell for REIGN, and so will your date — not to mention how they'll feel about you. Get dressed up and saunter through Fairmont Royal York's transformed lobby space over to REIGN. The timeless, elegant affair will have you cooing softly to each other over a languorous meal as you sip wine and bask in the charming backdrop.

From February 13–15, REIGN is offering a refined, three-course, prix-fixe menu that takes all the guesswork out of impressing your date. On Valentine's Day, the $180 per person dinner starts with your choice of luxurious appetizer, from East Coast oysters with Oscietra caviar to Atlantic scallop crudo and seared foie gras. The elevated main course options include juicy beef tenderloin rossini; linguini with P.E.I. lobster, swimming in a lobster bisque; and a creamy black truffle and wild mushroom risotto.

For dessert, spoon each other bites of the Strawberry Kiss Soufflé, Eternal Love Layered Gatêau or the Queen of Hearts trio. Better yet, share everything with your date and savour even more of the sumptuous plates. Add the optional wine pairing as the cherry on top — this is a special occasion spot for celebrating, after all.

On February 13 and 15, a more quaint version of the three-course menu is available for $125 per person, with dishes like truffled beef tartare, poached shrimp cocktail and Cape d’Or salmon served in a champagne beurre blanc.

After dinner, continue the evening at CLOCKWORK with champagne and expertly crafted cocktails. Or make a whole weekend out of it and stay overnight at Fairmont Royal York, Toronto's beloved destination for celebrating love, milestones and meaningful moments.
