It’s been one of the most brutal starts to winter, even by Canadian standards. So if we’re going to lace up our winter boots and swathe ourselves in fabric from head to toe, we’d better have a good reason for it. Luckily, Winterlicious Toronto has our backs with cheap eats for lunch and dinner at some of Toronto’s best restaurants.
Running from January 30 to February 12, Winterlicious Toronto, the beloved prix-fixe food festival, brings lunch and dinner deals to more than 240 of the city’s best dining rooms, bars and buzzy new Toronto restaurants. Think classic French bistros, brewery-adjacent kitchens, long-standing favourites and fresh openings all showing off multi-course menus at wallet-friendly prices.
Lunch menus start at $25, while dinner options range up to $75 at some of the city’s swankiest spots, making it one of the easiest ways to score a seat at restaurants that are usually booked solid or reserved for special occasions. There's a Winterlicious Toronto menu for everyone, too — some of the city's best vegan restaurants are serving knockout plant-based menus at a discount.
And while Winterlicious Toronot wraps just before Valentine’s Day, it’s the perfect excuse to test-drive the city’s most romantic dining rooms ahead of Cupid’s big night — or simply tick a few must-try Toronto restaurants off your 2026 hit list. Happy feasting.
