Where to Eat and Drink During the Super Bowl

We all know that the best thing about the Super Bowl is the snacks. If you don't feel like hosting, park yourself on a stool at one of these bars and restaurants.

Momofuku Noodle Bar

Momofuku Noodle Bar

190 University Ave

If you want to stay in but you don't feel like cooking, Momofuku Noodle Bar on University Avenue will be offering a selection of takeaway packages to enjoy at your Super Bowl viewing party. No matter how big or small your crew, there's a big game picnic for everyone. The Fried Chicken ($150) serves 4-8 and comes with one southern and one Korean-style bird; Bo Ssäm ($240) provides enough slow-cooked pork shoulder for 8-10; or go all out with the Super Bowl Full Tailgate Package ($440) which has all the above plus pork buns for 12-16 people.

Love Child Social

Love Child Social

69 Bathurst St. 4:30 PM – 11:30 PM

This coworking space on Queen and Bathurst often runs events for members and guests, and the Super Bowl is no exception. Love Child Social, a workspace, event space, and cafe will be offering football (and food) fans all-you-can-eat game day pizza, chili, hot dogs, grilled cheese, nachos, cupcakes and candy with their $20 ticket. Plus, every guest will receive a free tall boy upon entry and have the chance to win prizes throughout the afternoon/evening. The event runs from 4:30 pm – 11:30 pm.

Batch

Batch

75 Victoria St.

This Victoria street brewpub promises cold beer and plenty of snacks at the Super Bowl this Sunday. Head to Batch for drink specials, food platters and prizes. If you're looking to extend the activities all-day (and flex your own sporting muscles), arrive early for a beer pong tournament at 2 pm (register a team of two head of time for $15). Watching the game itself is free to attend, but we recommend booking yourself a spot on Open Table now.

Northern Maverick Brewing Company

Northern Maverick Brewing Company

115 Bathurst St.

It wouldn't be a Super Bowl party without some beer to wash down those chicken wings. In addition to their usual selection on draught, Northern Maverick Brewing Company on Bathurst will be offering viewers $5 tulips of lager and $5 Jack Daniels shots this Sunday, plus their usual menu which has a great roster of bar snacks on offer. With ghost pepper and mango habanero fried chicken wings, plus bacon popcorn to chow down on, you might just forget there's a game on at all.

The Rec Room

The Rec Room

255 Bremner Blvd.

With plenty of screens dotted around the huge 40,000 square foot space, Rec Room is the perfect spot to tune in and see if Tom Brady can nab a sixth Super Bowl ring this Sunday. The Rec Room, housed in Toronto’s heritage roundhouse, will be hosting a Budweiser Superbowl LIII Party, complete with a special game day menu, prize giveaways and perks for SCENE members in the Hall. Alternatively, make a reservation at Canadian-inspired Three10 restaurant where the game will also be screened.

Death and Taxes Free House

Death and Taxes Free House

1154 Queen St W.

Queen Street West isn't too hip to get in on the game day action – Death and Taxes Free House will be screening the annual NFL championship game. Book a table at the quirky Donnelly Group pub or catch the action under the neon signage at the bar with a pint in hand. If its eclectic menu and selection of local beers isn't enough to tempt you, Steam Whistle is on special ($5) and you might just win free beer for a year.
