As the year comes to a close, we're looking back on the best of 2025, from the top restaurants in the city and the hottest new openings to the best bottles that we tried over the last 12 months. It's been a rollercoaster ride, but the bites and sips have been delicious.
In spring, we kicked off the year with lighter pours, from non-alcoholic drinks and mixers to low-calorie wines. Summer saw us double down on all things patriotic with the best Canadian drinks, before we cozied up with bold reds and cream liqueurs as the weather changed. During the holidays, sparkling wine and single-malts are fit for any celebration.
But don't feel you have to be hemmed in by the season — the best bottles from 2025 are perfect for sipping, gifting or serving any time.
