Ever wondered what it's like to taste a dish crafted by a chef at the top of her game — while hearing the story behind it? If the answer is Yes Shef, you're in luck.

On Monday, March 9, as part of Women in Hospitality programming, Yes Shef will take over The International Centre in Mississauga for a culinary celebration at the RC Show.

This one-night gastronomic experience brings together some of the most influential women in Canadian food and drink — including Alida Solomon (Tutti Matti), Donna Dooher (Mildred’s Temple Kitchen), Eva Chin (Yan Dining Room), Evelyn Chick, Charlotte Langley (Nice Cans), Nicole Hynes (Sand & Pearl), Marissa Leon-John (Elle Jays), Suman Ali and more to be announced — alongside the culinary students they mentor.

More than 15 women-led tasting stations, featuring dishes from chefs, restaurateurs and their mentees, will be paired with beverages from women winemakers, brewers and bartenders. The result is a room full of bold flavours, meaningful conversations and the people shaping Canada’s food and beverage industry right now.

After five successful years in British Columbia, Yes Shef is making its GTA debut. At this year’s event, each mentee will also receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their culinary education and careers, with all proceeds benefiting women working in recreation, tourism and hospitality. It's a chance to eat well and support the women inspiring Canada’s food scene.
